About

My name is Jenna Blackburn, and I’m a first-year at the University of Chicago, where I plan to double major in Cinema & Media Studies and History, with a minor in Visual Arts. I’m from Galveston, TX, but my family now lives in Spartanburg, SC. We have also lived in Kenai, AK and Rockford, IL. My hobbies include films (watching, making, and everything in between!), music (mostly listening, but a bit of guitar-playing), photography (only digital to date), and computers (mostly web design and graphic arts). At UChicago, I participate in Fire Escape Films, Doc Films, and Model UN, and work for NSP as a member of the CUIP Techstaff. Back home, I work as a cashier and receptionist at a Toyota dealership, and enjoy the few months of the year that I can actually use my car. I also love yoga, coffee, my boyfriend Stephen, and the city of Chicago. My future, I believe is promising. Exactly what’s in store for me….well, I guess we’ll see ;)
